The Visibility Doctrine™
Book I — Visibility Begins Before You Are Seen
Doctrine 002
Every opportunity is visible
before it is obvious.
Most opportunities don't appear suddenly. They become obvious only after someone else has already recognised them.
Think about the opportunities you've missed — the promotion, the investment, the partnership, the customer. Looking back, the clues were there. The signals were there. The direction was there.
What changed wasn't the opportunity. It was recognition. Visibility isn't about predicting the future; it's about recognising what the future is already trying to show you.
Recognition
What looked sudden from the outside had been forming for a while. By the time an opportunity is obvious to everyone, it has already been visible to someone for some time.
Canonical Lines
- Every opportunity is visible before it is obvious.
- What changed wasn't the opportunity. It was recognition.
- Visibility isn't prediction. It's recognition of what's already showing itself.
